Sailing at Cookham Reach is available for all abilities and ages on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames in Berkshire. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor you can get on the water using a club boat or your own dinghy which can be stored for a small fee in our large dinghy park. If you are a beginner or need to improve your sailing skills we offer RYA training courses and regularly hold coaching sessions during the year run our experienced sailors.
You can get out on the water for a leisurely sail at any time, or if you wish to sail with others in a friendly and safe environment we offer social sailing on Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays when a safety boat will be out on the water with you.
Class racing takes place every Sunday from early Spring to early Winter. The racing comprises of four series during the year interspersed with a number of cup races. The club has a variety of dinghy classes competing for cups and series.
For those who don’t wish to get their feet wet we also have an active Radio Control Model Yacht club.
