Series racing takes place on the first Saturday of each month and the Sunday of the other weeks of the month. There are three races per day during the Spring, Summer and Autumn series and two races in the Winter series. There are breaks for lunches and tea. Currently the club splits up the dinghies into a separate Lightning class (due to the size of the club’s fleet) and a Handicap class for all other boats and all types of dinghy are welcome to race at the club.
The races are overseen by the Officer of the Day (OD) and Assistant Officers of the Day (AODs), both are voluntary roles manned by the duty rota. These positions provide race control and safety cover.
