Cookham Reach Sailing Club has published its 2023 calendar with racing starting on April 2nd. The racing year will start with the traditional Champagne Party held in the CRSC clubhouse and following this, the Champagne Race will take place at 2pm. The following weekend sees a slight change to the calendar as it is Easter weekend, so the club’s sailors will compete for the Easter Egg race on Easter Monday with a special treat for any young sailors who are racing.
During the year, the club will host its CRSC OK Open which takes place on Saturday June 3rd, with a good turnout expected for some practice for those attending the OK Dinghy World Championships which takes place in Lyme Regis at the end of the month. The following weekend, the Lightning 368 class sailors will come to Cookham for the CRSC Lightning 368 Open, which will be a round of the Noble Marine Insurance Travellers’ Series.
