Cookham Reach Sailing Club held its first Champagne Party since 2019 on Sunday 4th April. Thirty four members attended the party to celebrate the start of the sailing year and were served champagne and a fantastic range of Canapes made by Jackie Pestell and Lizzie Reuter. The party was followed the traditional Champagne Race and tea and cakes were served in the clubhouse after members watched the first race of the season.

The newly elected Commodore, James Long gave a speech welcoming members to the event and detailing the events of the forthcoming year and gave out prizes for the previous year’s Winter Series.
