The Summer Series saw close finishes in both the Lightning 368 class and the Handicap. Maddie Harris (LN 279) took the Lightning class despite not sailing on the final race day (Sunday 25th July). Mary Webb (LN 178) closed up the gap by taking a second and two thirds from the day’s three races. Despite finishing on the same points, she finished second in the Series as Maddie took more wins during the Series. Jerome Dreux (LN 155) took third in the Series two points behind and scored a win, a second and a third on the final days of the Series.
In the Handicap class, Clive Evison (OK 1695) won the Series, Andrew Boxer (OK 2196) finished second two points behind and Nick Reuter finished third. None of the Handicap class sailors raced on the final day.
