Maddie Harris (LN 279) has taken the lead in the Lightning class of the Summer Series after taking four wins out of four races on the 11th July ahead of Mary Webb (LN 178). The two are now separated by one point in the series. Jerome Dreux lies third in the Series after three thirds and a fourth from the day’s sailing.
Duncan Watts took four seconds on Sunday and have moved into fourth place in the Series after only sailing nine races out of the twenty-one in the Series so far.
A total of ten sailors have sailed in the Lightning class of the series which has received a good turnout as some of the usual Handicap class sailors have transferred into Lightnings when there are not enough sailors to race and score points in the Handicap class.
In the Handicap class, Clive Evison (OK 1695) holds a one point lead over Andrew Boxer (OK 2196). Only two races were sailed by the Handicap class on the 11th with race three and four sailed by Andrew in his OK and Peter Wyatt in Enterprise 22828. Andrew took two wins from the races.
There are three more day’s racing in the Series.
