The first Sunday’s racing in the Winter Series was cancelled today (1st November) due to the strong river currents and gusty winds. The EA river status for the stretch from Marlow to Cookham Locks was on a Yellow with Stream Increasing and with winds of Force 4 gusting to Force 7 it was decided that it was not advisable to sail with only one safety boat available.

Racing resumes next Sunday (8th November) dependent on the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
