A combination of strong currents and gusty wind caused the cancellation of the seventh and penultimate round of the Cookham Reach Sailing Club Winter Series. Despite the EA river warnings decreasing from red to yellow, gusty wind which was forecast to gust to over 30mph on Sunday 8th December caused the cancellation of racing for the day.

The series is led by Andrew Boxer in OK 2196 with one round remaining.
