The Masters Trophy was held on is always a popular race on the CRSC calendar with many of the long-standing members of the club and former Commodores coming to watch the races and meet up with old friends and have a fantastic post-race tea organised by Tanja van Wyngaardt.
The first race was closely fought between Richard Cartwright / Ray Swinney (Enterprise 22174) and Clive Evison (Lightning 108) with Richard crossing the line first, but Clive winning on corrected PY timing. Gary Adshead and James Long (Enterprise 23158) finished third ahead of Tricia Evison (Lightning 412) with Tricia third on PY.
The second race was won by Richard and Ray who pipped Gary and James at the line ahead of a very close battle between Clive and Tricia with Clive pulling away on the final lap.
Clive won the Masters category (55-64), Tricia won the Grand Master category (65-69) and Richard took the Great Grand Master category (70+). The overall winner was Richard Cartwright.
